My sister in law came over and entertained Jared a while on Wednesday while I got some things done. She also helped me get him to his Pediatrician. I'm so thankful for my family and friends! They have visited Jared, arranged meals, brought him stuff (toys, treats and balloons), have stayed with him.
Unfortunately, Jared had about 5 shots on Wednesday (preparing for school in the fall) and so was pretty miserable when we got home.
We had a rough beginning of the week (I was pretty miserable) but Jared is getting a little more mobile and independent. He is actually able to hop on one foot with his walker (which he was not able to do at the hospital) instead of dragging his foot, so he is much quicker and more confident now...which makes me feel much better!
